DP Communications is committed to best practice. That is why
we are accredited by the British Standards Institution (BSI)
for having both a Quality Management System and Environmental
Management System in place.
BSI pioneered the development of the world's most popular
management system series ISO 9000 which has now been adopted
by more than half-a-million organisations world wide.

ISO
9002 ACCREDITATION
The British Standard Institutions ISO 9000 series of quality
standards is widely respected because it is a true reflection
of global best practice. With customer satisfaction at its
centre, the standard aims for everyone in the organisation
to be motivated to deliver quality standards, through encouraging
common goals.
DP Communications is BS EN ISO 9002:1994 registered.
ISO
14001 ENVIRONMENTAL ACCREDITATION
A company's environmental performance can have a significant
impact on its success.
ISO 14001 is the internationally recognised standard for environmental
management systems. Registration demonstrates high environmental
standards, compliance with legislation, reduced costs and
improved efficiency.
An EMS provides a framework for managing environmental responsibilities.
With it, management becomes more efficient and efforts become
integrated into overall business operations.
DP Communications is BS EN ISO 14001:1996 certified.

ENVIRONMENTAL
POLICY
DP Communications is committed to continuing quality
improvement in all areas of the business. We are conscious
that our day-to-day operations may inevitably impact on the
environment in a number of ways. It is therefore our responsibility
to minimise the effects we have on both the local ecosystems
and the global environment. We are committed to:-
Environmental Leadership
We aim to work with our suppliers to minimise the impact of
their operations on the environment. As members of the WWF95+
GROUP, we are committed to sourcing all wood-based products
from known, well-managed forests.
Communication
We aim to ensure that environmental issues are always incorporated
within the Company training programmes, while encouraging
our staff to adopt sound environmental practises both at work
and at home.
Reduce Energy & Resource Consumption
We aim to design energy efficiency into our services, premises
and products, and manage energy wisely in all our operations
and be efficient in our use of natural resources .
Reduce Harmful Emissions
We aim to reduce, wherever possible, the levels of harmful
emissions from our premises and vehicles.
Local Ecology
We aim to be aware of the environmental impact we have on
all of our immediate neighbours, and where possible work with
local communities to promote environmental protection.
Reduce Waste
We aim to reduce waste and actively promote recycling
and the use of recycled materials, both in the products we
sell and in our internal operations.
Continuous Improvement in Environmental Performance
We aim to monitor and measure our progress and publish an
environmental performance report annually within the Company
accounts. Throughout our operations we will always meet and
aim to improve beyond, all environmental legislation. If no
regulations exist, we will set our own high targets and standards.

HEALTH
AND SAFETY
It is the policy of DP Communications Ltd to comply with
the requirements set out in the Management of Health &
Safety at Work Regulations 1992 and all other related
legislation, including the Health & Safety at Work Act
1974.
As far as it is reasonably practicable, we provide and maintain
safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems
of work for all our employees. We also provide information,
training and supervision in order to achieve our purpose.
We also accept our responsibilities for the Health, Safety
and Welfare of other people, including visitors, contractors
and our neighbours, who may be affected by our activities.
